Our History & Achievements
Welcome to Nelken School
Nelken School is a privately owned co-educational institution providing education from kindergarten to ordinary-level secondary. Founded on January 14, 2022, it began with 68 students and quickly grew to 154. Today, it proudly serves 206 students.
The school started with 12 teachers and now employs 16 skilled educators. Brother Amir Mohamed has led the school since its founding. Our campus is located in the heart of Zanzibar City on Malindi-Jongeani Street near Bwawani Hotel.
All subjects follow the Ministry of Education guidelines and are taught in English. Islamic studies and Arabic are prioritized, with access to an on-site madrasa. German courses are also available for students and teachers who wish to learn.
